Setting up Google Meet or Join a Google Meeting

Show or hide Google Meet in Gmail (for all users)

 Open Gmail.

1. In the top right, click Settings See all settings.
2. At the top, choose Chat and Meet.
3. In the "Meet" section, make your changes. (tick to enable Meet)
4. At the bottom, click Save Changes.

Start a video call PC

 Open Gmail.

1. In the Meet section, click New meeting.
2. To send the meeting invite via link or email, click Send invite. 
3. To copy the meeting invite details, click Copy meeting invite.
4. To send an email invite, click Share via email.
5. When you’re ready to join the meeting, click Join now.
6. Before you join your first meeting, make sure to allow permissions for your Microphone and Camera. Once you grant permission: 
7. To turn your microphone on or off, click Microphone .
8. To turn your camera on or off, click Camera .
9. To join the call, click Join now.
10. To end the call, click Leave call .

Start a video call / meeting on an iPad

 Open Gmail.

1. Along the bottom click the camera icon (on the far right)
2. In the Meet section, click New meeting.
3. To send the meeting invite via link or email, click Send invite. 
4. To copy the meeting invite details, click Copy meeting invite.
5. To send an email invite, click Share via email.
6. When you’re ready to join the meeting, click Join now.
7. Before you join your first meeting, make sure to allow permissions for your Microphone and Camera. Once you grant permission:
